BUMA secures facility to pay off loans
JAKARTA - PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), a subsidiary of PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), obtained an approval regarding the amendment and the transfer of loan facility from two of its creditors, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI).
In the information disclosure quoted Thursday (7/3), Indra Dammen Kanoena, President Director of BUMA, confirmed that both parties have agreed to sign the amendment of the division of facility commitment given by them. The amendment includes the commitment (Tranche A) of USD 300 million each, and Tranche B of USD 75 million, as well as an accordion facility of USD 250 million from BBNI and BMRI.
BUMA will utilise the facility obtained from Tranche A of USD 280 million to pay off in advance the entire loan as stated in the facility agreement of USD 350 million, established by BMRI as mandated lead arranger, underwriter and bookrunner, agent, guarantee agent, and account bank as debtor as of July 1, 2021, and was amended on June 16, 2023.
