JAKARTA - Foreign buying and selling volumes rose on Thursday, March 7, compared to the previous trading day. Foreign investors bought a total of 4.20 billion shares, while they sold 5.04 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume closed at -843.78 million shares. The digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) was ranked first on the top sell list, with shares sold totaling 2.80 billion and a net volume of -668.87 million.

PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) shares were then sold for 637.11 million, resulting in a net volume of -482.97 million. Foreign investors then sold around 91.18 million shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) for a net volume of -65.51 million shares. Shares in two banking businesses, PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), were also sold. Foreign investors sold 47.51 million BBYB shares for a net volume of -39.56 million and 75.69 million BMRI shares for a net volume of -29.08 million.

On the other hand, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) in the coal mining sector continues to have the biggest net volume in the top buy, at roughly 73.34 million shares, after 112.78 million shares were purchased. Aside from that, three companies each have a net volume of around 40 million shares: the mining and energy sector consulting services company PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), the banking company PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), and the lifestyle retail company PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI). This range was generated after foreign investors purchased 43.18 million ITMA shares, 105.35 million BBCA shares, and 50.76 million MAPI shares. Finally, 36.64 million shares of PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO) in the aerosol services sector were purchased, for a net volume of -36.51 million shares. (KD)
