JAKARTA – The market capitalisation of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) arrived at the bottom level of the top 10 market cap in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as of February 2024. Within a year, it has continuously shrunk by 14.34%.

Based on IDX data compiled by IDNFinancials today (13/3), ASII’s market cap was reported at IDR 211.52 trillion or 1.81% of total market cap of IDR 11.68 quadrillion seen in February 2024. It actually increased from January 2024’s market cap of IDR 207.47 trillion or 1.82% of total market cap of IDR 11.41 trillion.

The stock price of ASII at the closing bell on February 29 was recorded at IDR 5,225 per share. The highest transaction price was IDR 5,300, and the lowest was recorded at IDR 5,200 per share. The transaction volume reached 86.12 million shares, recorded within 12,463 transactions worth IDR 451.32 billion.

However, it actually declined compared to the same period in 2023. In February 2023, ASII reported market cap of IDR 246.94 trillion or 2.60% of total market cap of IDR 9.49 quadrillion. With said market cap, ASII managed to secure the 6th spot in the top 10 market cap at that time.

As of February 28, 2023, ASII’s stock was closed at IDR 6,100 per share, while the transaction volume clocked up to 154.66 million within 23,879 transactions worth IDR 952.79 billion. (LK/ZH)
