JAKARTA. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), the bank with the highest market capitalisation, has secured approval from its shareholders to distribute final dividend of IDR 227.50 per share, totalling IDR 28.04 trillion.

Said number is decided according to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders last Thursday (14/3) in Jakarta. In this meeting, shareholders agreed to allocate 68.4% of 2023 net profit as cash dividend.

Prior to this, on December 20, 2023, BBCA had channelled out interim dividend of IDR 5.24 trillion.

After allocating its net profit to cash dividend, IDR 486.39 billion of BBCA’s net profit will be stored as general reserves. Then, the remaining 2023 net profit will be used as retained earnings.

According to IDNFinancials data, BBCA’s stock price today (18/3) was closed stagnantly at IDR 10,150 per share. The stock price also peaked at IDR 10,275, and the transaction frequency clocked up to 12,560.

Since the beginning of 2024, BBCA’s stock price reportedly increased 725 points or 7.69%. Meanwhile, within the last year of trading session, the stock has gone up 1,750 points or 20.83%. (KR/ZH)
