JAKARTA - On Thursday, March 14, PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), an online shopping platform, welcomed a new foreign investor. Through BUT Deutsche Bank AG, the foreign investor known as UBS AG Hong Kong Non-Treaty Omnibus Account - 2052034005 recently purchased 9.06 billion BUKA shares, or roughly 8.79% of the stakes.

Additionally, two significant investors in PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA) decided to increase their ownership in this consulting services and mining company. First, 1.61 million ITMA shares were purchased by PT Trukindo Persada Sejahtera, and approximately 1.13 million shares were purchased by PT Majukarya Mandiri Indonesia. The two investors now each hold roughly 5% of ownership, after a small increase from these purchases. Additionally, PT Arthakencana Rayatama purchased 2.14 million shares of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), a distributor of fuel and basic chemicals. Edwin Soeryadjaya, an individual investor, then purchased 1 million shares of PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG), an active investment company.

In contrast, foreign investors dominated share sales in this market. Around 10.41 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were sold by the GOTO Peopleverse Fund once more. Citibank Singapore S/A the Singaporean government also sold 3.21 million shares of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL). Moreover, 3.04 million ARNA shares and 133,600 SPTO shares, which came from two separate issuers, were sold by BBH Luxembourg S/A Fidelity Funds. PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA) itself manufactures ceramics, and PT Surya Pertiwi Tbk (SPTO) is the sole distributor of TOTO Japan, a Japanese manufacturer of bathroom products. Finally, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala released 705,912 shares of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), a financial services provider. (KD)
