Setting up MCB, APEX to issue 103 million shares
JAKARTA - PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX) will issue 103,623,569 shares for IDR 1,846.63 each next week (27/3). This corporate action is related to Mandatory Convertible Bonds (MCB) Tranche I worth USD 115 million or equal to approximately IDR 1.63 trillion.
In the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (20/3), Frieda Salvantina, Corporate Secretary of APEX, said that the value of the issued shares is set to IDR 500 each. The number of shares will then rise to 2.93 billion after the capital raise from the previous 2.83 billion shares.
Until now, the total shares exercised clocks up to 170.15 million, and the unexercised shares are 612.83 million.
As mentioned before, MCB Trance I is worth USD 115 million, or equivalent to IDR 1.63 trillion, with 888.61 million shares listed post-conversion. The new additional shareholder is said to be HSBC Bank Plc.
The shareholders of APEX, as of February 2024, consist of PT Aserra Capital of 67%, Standard Chartered of 7.8%, Eka Dharmajanto of 1.01%, Erwin Sutanto of 0%, the public of 24.12%, and treasury shares of 0.01%. (LK/ZH)
