JAKARTA - Foreign investors were seen purchasing and selling shares on Tuesday, March 19, with stable volumes. The foreign buying volume was around 2.44 billion shares, while the foreign selling volume was 2.35 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume hit a surplus of around 92.60 million shares. The largest number of shares purchased belonged to the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), with 748.26 million shares and a net volume of 136.85 million shares. Meanwhile, the stock with the highest sales belonged to the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), which sold 212.12 million shares and whose net volume was -121.92 million shares.
The list of share sales continues with the sale of 49.65 million shares of internet service provider PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET), resulting in a net volume of -29.17 million. Apart from that, around 34.19 million shares of PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk (MAYA) in the banking sector were sold, for a net volume of approximately -24.60 million shares. Shares of the oil and gas exploration and production company PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) were then sold for 33.88 million shares with a net volume of -22.91 million shares, followed by the sale of shares of the television channel broadcasting company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) for 26.68 million shares with a net volume of -22.05 million shares.
Furthermore, foreign investors purchased 73.43 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) for a net volume of 39.30 million shares. In the oil and gas storage and distribution industry, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk's (PGAS) shares were purchased for 48.89 million shares, with a net volume of 37.28 million shares. Foreign investors also purchased 37.77 million shares of PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), which provides consulting services to the mining and energy sectors, for a net volume of 36.91 million shares.
