JAKARTA. PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT), the managing company of Alfamart and Alfamidi convenience store network, revealed net profit worth IDR 3.48 trillion in 2023.

This figure is 19.8% year-on-year (yoy) higher from the previous year, in which AMRT only scored IDR 2.91 trillion of net profit in 2022. This growth is in line with its revenue, hitting IDR 106.94 trillion. The total revenue in 2023 increased 10.3% yoy from IDR 96.92 trillion seen in 2022.

In addition, AMRT also reported increase in other income to IDR 1.23 trillion in 2023, up 17.8% yoy from IDR 1.04 trillion seen in 2022.

According to the recently released financial report, most of AMRT’s revenue in 2023 came from foods sales, reaching IDR 75.66 trillion. Meanwhile, non-food products only brought in sales of IDR 31.29 trillion.

Based on geographical location, Greater Jakarta Area contributed IDR 27.61 trillion to total revenue of AMRT. Then, sales in Java outside Greater Jakarta Area were recorded at IDR 36.8 trillion, followed by outside Java of IDR 32.49 trillion.

As of December 31, 2023, AMRT’s total assets were reported at IDR 34.2 trillion, while total equity clocked up to IDR 15.7 trillion. (KR/ZH)
