JAKARTA - On Friday, March 22, foreign investors purchased 1.03 billion shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), resulting in the largest net volume of 656.79 million shares. This transaction also contributed to the foreign purchase volume of 2.66 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign sales volume was roughly 2 billion shares, resulting in a surplus net foreign volume of 666.53 million shares.

Following GOTO, about 76 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) were purchased for a net volume of 58.74 million shares. PT Sinergi Multi Lestarindo Tbk (SMLE) shares in the basic chemical goods sector were then purchased for 51.24 million shares, with a net volume of 46.49 million shares. Around 100.24 million shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were also purchased with a net volume of 40.10 million shares, followed by the purchase of 36.11 million shares of the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) for a net volume of 27.27 million shares.

Meanwhile, on the share sales list, 114.43 million shares of media and broadcasting company PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) were sold, for a net volume of nearly -60 million shares. Aside from that, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) shares in the banking sector were sold for 96.57 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -43.48 million. The sale of 46.74 million shares of coal mining business PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and 34.05 million shares of its mineral mining subsidiary, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tk (BRMS), then resulted in a net volume of around 30 million shares each. Finally, foreign investors sold 33.38 million shares of the general mining contractor services company PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA), resulting in a net volume of -22.63 million shares. (KD)
