Foreign buy and sell volumes are stable; net foreign volume closed at 251.70 million shares
JAKARTA - On Monday, March 25, foreign investors carried out share buying and selling transactions with relatively stable volumes. The foreign buy volume was recorded at 2.59 billion shares, while the foreign sell volume was 2.34 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume stood at 251.70 million shares surplus. The digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) remained the best-selling shares, with foreign investors purchasing 1.06 billion shares for a net volume of 260.25 million.
Furthermore, PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF) shares in the business and management consulting sector were acquired for 109.88 million shares, with a net volume of 66.37 million shares. The following share purchase target was PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), a mining and energy consultancy services firm with approximately 36.55 million shares bought and a net volume of 35.68 million shares. The final two companies on the top buy list each had a net volume of around 20 million shares: the aerosol services company PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO), which was purchased for 24.87 million shares, and the banking company PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), which was purchased for 62.91 million shares.
Meanwhile, foreign investors sold 134.68 million shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), a telecommunications company, resulting in a net volume of -102.83 million shares. Shares of the mining company, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), which focuses on the coal mining sector, were then sold for 48.43 million shares, for a net volume of -38.53 million shares, followed by the sale of 23.57 million shares of paint producer PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), for a net volume of -18.71 million. Furthermore, shares of PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), a mineral mining company, and PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR), an electric vehicle distributor, were both sold in the 30 million share range, with MDKA's net volume at -20.97 million shares and VKTR's at -17.07 million shares.
