JAKARTA - On Wednesday, April 3, PT. Shima Global Kapital purchased 3.30 billion shares of PT. Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG), which is an issuer involved in oil and gas exploration and trading. This investor previously held approximately 11.92% of the shares, but the most recent purchase made through PT KB Valbury Sekuritas Securities increased its holdings to 25.23%.

Furthermore, individual investor Stefanie Djajali recently invested 230.26 million shares in plantation issuer PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantations Tbk (UNSP), amounting to 9.21% ownership. Red Dragon Capital Ltd. then made a new investment in the livestock holding company, PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa Tbk. This UK-based foreign investor purchased 1.90 billion shares through PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia, resulting in a 6.48% ownership stake. Also, foreign investor Zurich Assets International Ltd. purchased 50.78 million shares of PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), giving them a 5.08% stake. Aside from that, foreign investor Blooming Years Pte Ltd. increased its stake in PT Multitrend Indo Tbk (BABY), a retailer of fashion and baby accessories, by 4.03 million shares.

Meanwhile, several foreign investors reduced their stakes. GOTO Peopleverse Fund continued to release 93.81 million shares of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), while Citibank Singapore S/A Government of Singapore released 11.37 million shares of telecommunications infrastructure provider PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL). Chemical Asia Corporation Pte Ltd. then sold 81.60 million shares of PT Victoria Investama Tbk (VICO), a company that offers integrated financial solutions. Tan John Tanuwijaya also sold 4.45 million shares of the foundation construction issuer, PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR), while PT Gading Danalestari released 285,800 shares of the transportation issuer, PT Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk (LRNA).
