JAKARTA. PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP), a precast concrete manufacturer under PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT), has secured new contracts worth IDR 1.03 trillion as of Q1 2024.

The new contracts of WSBP in Q1 2024 reportedly increased 137.57% year-on-year (yoy) in value. Furthermore, said value already reaches 40% of the target of total new contracts set for this year by the company.

This new contract growth of WSBP in Q1 2024 was dominated by contracts from construction service, contributing IDR 432.28 billion. Then, precast segment also brought in IDR 207.97 billion to total new contracts, followed by ready mix of IDR 383.10 billion.

Fandy Dewanto, Vice President of Corporate Secretary of WSBP, mentioned that the new contract acquisition aligns with WSBP’s marketing strategy, brand position reinforcement, as well as technology and innovation improvement. “So that the external market share increased 2 times compared to the same period last year,” said Dewanto in the official statement.

As of now, WSBP is entrusted with several construction projects, including Enim Bridge 1 - Enim Bridge 2 Retaining Wall Construction Work, Container Yard (CY) Construction Work and Batu Ampar Batam Container Terminal (TPK) Supporting Infrastructure, Serang - Panimbang Section III Toll Road Construction Project, Probolinggo Banyuwangi Toll Road Construction Project Package 3, as well as Nusantara International Convention and Exhibition Project @District 18 PIK 2.
