JAKARTA - PT Roket Cipta Semesta (RCS) reportedly increased its portion in PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk (CASS) yesterday (18/4). The total stock portion of this subsidiary of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) now reaches 51% of CASS’s issued and paid-up capital.

In the information disclosure quoted Friday (19/4), Titi Maria Rusli, Corporate Secretary of EMTK, mentioned that RCS has signed an agreement of purchase of 205.63 million shares, or equal to 9.85% of shares of Cemerlang Pte Ltd in CASS. “The completion of this transaction still depends on the condition fulfilment in the sale and purchase agreement,” she added.

Prior to this, RCS has acquired shares of CASS by purchasing 492.12 million shares of PT Cardig Asset Management (CAM) and another 366.58 million shares of PT Dinamika Raya Swarna (DRS). The percentage of acquired shares was 23.58% and 17.57% of CASS’s issued and paid-up capital.

“The total shares that will be purchased clock up to 1.06 billion shares in CASS, with purchasing price set to IDR 872.76 billion,” Rusli further explained.

According to Rusli, the fund source for this transaction is the company’s own internal cash. (LK/ZH)
