Gojek Tokopedia shares sold up to 1 billion shares; net foreign is -368.35 million shares
JAKARTA - On Wednesday, April 17, foreign investors sold 1.19 billion shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) for a net volume of -168.46 million shares. This transaction was one of the reasons why the foreign selling volume (3.43 billion shares) exceeded the foreign buying volume (3.06 billion shares). As a result, net foreign volume concluded at -368.35 million shares.
Foreign investors also sold 110.53 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) in the mineral mining sector, for a net volume of -91.06 million shares. In the media sector, 163.61 million shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) were sold, for a net volume of -79.89 million shares. Shares of telecommunications company PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) were then sold for 148.94 million shares, with a net volume of -62.87 million shares, followed by the sale of 72.73 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), with a net volume of -55.23 million.
On the other hand, PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) remained first on the top buy list after foreign investors bought 124.56 million shares, resulting in a net volume of 118.49 million shares. The shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which works in the renewable energy industry, then had a share purchase volume and net volume of around 48 million shares. In addition, 31.77 million shares of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), an oil and gas distributor, were purchased, for a net volume of 23.82 million shares. Finally, the acquisition of 15.40 million shares of the digital company PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) and 53.61 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) resulted in a net volume of approximately 19 million shares apiece.
