JAKARTA. PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk (WIIM), the manufacturer of Wismilak cigarette, reported net profit of IDR 494.3 billion throughout 2023, up 98% year-on-year (yoy).

WIIM’s net profit massive growth was supported by its net sales that reached IDR 4.87 trillion in 2023. In comparison to 2022, net sales also increased 31.6% yoy.

WIIM’s net sales in 2023 still recorded highest contribution from domestic sales, while export sales only reached IDR 76.85 billion.

In addition to sales growth, WIIM’s net profit surge was also driven further by other income that contributed IDR 19.38 billion. Other segments’ income also shifted 42.6% yoy.

According to IDNFinancials data, WIIM recorded total assets of IDR 2.57 trillion in 2023 with cash and cash equivalent of IDR 279.47 billion. Meanwhile, its total equity clocked up to IDR 1.84 trillion. (KR/ZH)
