Metro Pacific Tollways now owns 95.52% of Nusantara Infrastructure (META), after acquiring 3.69 billion more shares
JAKARTA - On Wednesday, April 24, investor PT Metro Pacific Tollways Indonesia purchased a substantial number of shares in PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META). PT BCA Sekuritas facilitated the acquisition of approximately 3.69 billion shares of this construction contractor company by this controlling shareholder, resulting in a significant increase in share ownership from 74.65% to 95.52%.
Furthermore, a controller called PT. Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk increased its shareholding by purchasing 10.15 million shares of PT Batavia Prosperindo Trans Tbk (BPTR). The same investors also targeted PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance Tbk's (MTWI) shares, purchasing 1.97 million of them. Not only that, but the mining holding company PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) was seen carrying out a share buyback of 2.38 million shares.
The securities company PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (YULE) was next in the spotlight, with foreign investor Bank of Singapore Limited adding 2.45 million shares. However, the issuer sold approximately 5.90 million of its own shares.
PT Indonesian Paradise Property Tbk (INPP), an issuer that provides accommodation, then announced the sale of its shares by foreign investor Tree of Blessing Pte. Ltd. in a volume of 450,000,000 shares via BUT Standard Chartered Bank. Another foreign investor, Albula Investment Fund Ltd, sold approximately 19.80 million shares of the manufacturing company PT Selaras Citra Nusantara Perkasa Tbk (SCNP). Tan John Tanuwijaya was once more seen selling 10.04 million shares of the foundation specialized company PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR), followed by PT Bersama Jaya Solusi selling 5.10 million shares of the aerosol company PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk. (KD).
