JAKARTA – The stock of PT Chemstar Indonesia Tbk (CHEM) soared 35% until the closing bell today (14/5). It then arrives at the top of the gainers’ list in the stock market.

Compiling the data from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), CHEM’s stock price went up IDR 21 to IDR 81 from the previous closing price of IDR 60 per share. Today’s (14/5) closing price was also its peak transaction price, while the lowest price was recorded at IDR 61 per share.

As the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) slipped, foreign investors tend to divest more, as seen through foreign sell of 82,100 shares, and foreign buy of 24,200 shares. The transaction volume reached 15.99 million, recorded within 2,371 transactions worth IDR 1.25 billion.

At the runner-up spot, sat PT Xolare Rcr Energy Tbk (SOLA), with 29.66% increase or shifting IDR 43, from the previous closing price of IDR 145 to IDR 188 per share. The highest transaction price reached IDR 191 per share, while the lowest was seen at IDR 145 per share.
