JAKARTA - On Wednesday, May 8, up to 4.45 billion shares of PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP) exchanged hands. A new investor, PT Prima Cakrawala Sentosa, acquired these shares from PT MNC Land Tbk's stake, resulting in its falling from 16.82% to 6.82%, with Prima Cakrawala now holding 10%. PT MNC Sekuritas facilitated the transaction between these two investors.

Interestingly, PT MNC Land Tbk became a new investor in another private bank, PT Bank Nationalnobu Tbk (NOBU), by acquiring 747.84 million NOBU shares from PT Prima Cakrawala Sentosa, whose share of NOBU fell from 20.66% to 10.66%. MNC Land, however, now holds 10% of NOBU. These two transactions were facilitated by PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia Securities.

Surono Subekti, an individual investor, then became the newest significant investor in PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk (CASS). He purchased 105.20 million shares, giving him 5.05% control of the holding company that provides airport services. PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), a coal mining contractor services company, was also continuing to buy back shares in the amount of 10 million.

Another significant transaction was recorded by PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA), which manufactures and develops pharmaceutical products. Rejuve Global Investment Pte Ltd, a foreign investor and PYFA controller, acquired 2.16 billion shares more, giving it final ownership of 63.32%. Meanwhile, PT Honoris Corporindo Prataman sold 2.31 billion shares of property developer PT Modernland Realty Tbk (MDLN), reducing its stake to just 7.07%.

Finally, Tan John Tanuwijaya, the controlling investor in the specialist foundation company PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR), sold 8.65 million shares. The Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia was also selling shares of PT Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk (TOPS), also known as Totalindo, for as many as 5.60 million shares.
