JAKARTA - News from PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG), a palm oil and rubber company, drove the stock market on Monday, May 13. Two TAPG foreign investors sold a large number of shares, beginning with Gochean Holdings Incorporated, which sold 1.09 billion shares, increasing its shareholding to 5.39%. Then, Salween Investment Pte Ltd. sold 1.49 billion shares, reducing its ownership to just 7.37%. Even so, PT Persada Capital Investama, the holder of 23% of TAPG shares, increased its shareholding by 999.86 million shares, bringing its ownership to 28.28%.

Furthermore, Jonathan Chang now owns 5.47% of the Alfamart minimarket chain after purchasing 2.26 billion shares of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) through PT BNC Sekuritas Indonesia. PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), a coal mining contractor services company, also bought back 10 million shares. PT Arthakencana Rayatama acquired 5.93 million shares of fuel distribution company PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), and PT Bogamulia Nagadi, the majority shareholder of PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), increased its stake in the pharmaceutical issuer by 1.11 million shares.

Tan John Tanuwijaya, on the other hand, was seen selling 19.35 million shares of PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR), a specialist foundation company. Finally, two PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (YULE) investors decided to reduce their stake in the securities company. First, the issuer itself sold 3.70 million YULE shares, followed by foreign investor Bank of Singapore Limited, which sold 2.10 million. (KD)
