JAKARTA. PT Champ Resto Indonesia Tbk (ENAK), a food & beverage (F&B) company debuted on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in February 2022, booked net profit of IDR 15.46 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024.

This net profit skyrocketed as high as 405.23% year-on-year (yoy) from the same quarter last year. In Q1 2023, ENAK only scored net profit of IDR 3.06 billion.

ENAK’s net profit surge in Q1 2024 aligned with its net sales’ positive shift to IDR 397.46 billion, up 27.53% yoy. In Q1 2023, net sales were stuck at IDR 311.65 billion.

In terms of geographical region, most of ENAK’s net sales were generated by restaurant chains in Greater Jakarta Area with total sales of IDR 265.84 billion. Sales in Java (non-Greater Jakarta Area) were reported hitting IDR 75.23 billion, while outside Java sales were IDR 56.39 billion.

Meanwhile, according to restaurant brands, Raacha brought in the most revenue for ENAK with total sales of IDR 134.56 billion. The next is sales from Monsieur Spoon, which was recorded at IDR 116.3 billion, followed by Gokana of IDR 113.57 billion, and others of IDR 32.98 billion.

Based on the recently released financial statement, ENAK’s total assets were seen at IDR 1.09 trillion as of March 31, 2024, with cash and cash equivalent of IDR 49.93 billion, while total equity clocked up to IDR 279.79 billion. (KR/ZH)
