JAKARTA. The total incoming bids recorded within the auction of Government Sharia Securities (lit. Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) or state sukuk today (20/5) were recorded at IDR 16.5 trillion, according to the Directorate-General of Budget Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance.

There were 7 series of state sukuk offered in today’s (20/5) auction, 2 of which were categorised as Sharia Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara – Syariah/SPN-S), while 5 others were Project-Based Sukuk (PBS).

SPNS02022025 scored the highest incoming bids for SPNS series worth IDR 3.31 trillion, while PBS038 got the highest incoming bids for PBS, with total bids worth IDR 5.51 trillion.

“Total awarded amount of those 7 series offered reaches IDR 8.1 trillion,” added DJPPR in the official statement.

In the second quarter (Q2) 2024, the Indonesian government had conducted 4 rounds of state sukuk auctions. Total awarded amount from these four rounds of auction is IDR 26.12 trillion. (KR/ZH)
