PRAY’s net profit soared 305%, yet no dividend in sight
JAKARTA - PT Famon Awal Bros Sedaya Tbk (PRAY), the managing company of Awal Bros Hospital, now Primaya Hospital, decided not to distribute dividend for the fiscal year (FY) 2023 despite its profit skyrocketing 305% from FY 2022.
Based on the data compiled by IDNFinancials today (22/5), PRAY’s shareholders agreed not to distribute dividend for FY 2023 worth IDR 224.02 billion. The entire profit is allocated as retained earnings, save for IDR 50 billion stored as general reserves.
The decision is approved by shareholders representing 12.80 billion shares or 91.75% present shareholders during Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) yesterday (20/5). With this decision on board, PRAY officially has yet to pay out dividend to shareholders since its initial public offering (IPO) on November 8, 2022.
In 2022, shareholders agreed not to allocate dividend. The net profit attributable to the parent company was IDR 55.24 billion, allocating IDR 11 billion as general reserves and the remaining amount as retained earnings. (LK/ZH)
