JAKARTA. PT Wika Gedung Tbk (WEGE), a building construction subsidiary of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), is scheduling a cash dividend distribution worth IDR 9.38 billion or IDR 0.98 per share, which will be taken out of its net profit in fiscal year (FY) 2023.

Hartanto Kartiraharjo, Director of Finance of WEGE, mentioned that the amount of cash dividend for FY 2023 is equal to 20% of its 2023 net profit. “It follows the result of the Annual GMS dated May 20, 2024,” said Kartiraharjo in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

The cash dividend will then be disbursed to WEGE’s shareholders whose names are listed under Official Register of Shareholders on June 3, 2024. The cash dividend payment is due June 19, 2024.

Throughout 2023, WEGE reported net profit of IDR 46.7 billion. In addition, the company also held retained earnings of IDR 909.44 billion, while total equity clocked up to IDR 2.56 trillion.

At last week’s (22/5) closing bell, WEGE was spotted slipping 1 point or 1.43% lower to IDR 96 per share. It has dropped 11 points or 13.75% since the beginning of 2024, or down 17 points or 19.77% within the past year. (KR/ZH)
