JAKARTA - On Wednesday, May 29, up to 25 million shares of the automotive company PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk (IMAS) traded hands. PT Sejahtera Raya Perkasa, which owns 10.1% of IMAS, transferred the shares to PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk, which now also owns approximately 10.14% of the shares. Aside from that, PT Metro Pacific Tollways Indonesia acquired nearly 80 million shares of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META), a construction contractor, increasing the controlling share percentage from 95.92% to 95.97%.

PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk's (SMMA) majority shareholder, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, added 9.77 million shares to its portfolio. Two issuers also continued to be the focus of buyback activity: coal mining contractor PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), which bought back 5 million shares, and cement producer PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP), with 3.54 million shares.

On the other hand, The Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia sold 47.19 million shares of PT Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (BTEK), an agricultural biotechnology issuer. The same investor was also selling 16.27 million shares of the construction company PT Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk (TOPS), also known as Totalindo.

CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd. sold 25.63 million shares of PT Indonesian Paradise Property Tbk (INPP) in foreign investor trading. Bank of Singapore Limited followed suit, releasing 3.5 million shares in PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (YULE). (KD)
