Profit declined, BMHS saw lowest dividend in the past three years
JAKARTA. PT Bundamedik Tbk (BMHS), the managing company of Rumah Sakit Bunda Hospital network, only distributes cash dividend of IDR 0.56 per share or IDR 4.82 billion for the fiscal year (FY) 2023.
The allocation of cash dividend of BMHS for FY 2023 is the lowest within the past three year, according to IDNFinancials data. Previously, in 2022, the company distributed cash dividend of IDR 1.50 per share, and IDR 2.56 per share in 2021.
The cash dividend distributed by BMHS is equal to 64.6% of total net profit of 2023, in which the company reported net profit of IDR 7.46 billion. For the record, the net profit in 2023 went down 91.04% year-on-year (yoy) from the previous year.
The decline resulted from BMHS’s revenue performance, which slipped 10.28% yoy to IDR 1.49 trillion. Then, the operational expenses swelled 11.49% yoy to IDR 586.90 billion.
BMHS’s cash dividend will be given to shareholders whose names have been listed by the recording date on June 12, 2023, according to Josephine Tobing, Corporate Secretary of BMHS. The cash dividend is scheduled to be paid on July 3, 2024.
On yesterday’s (5/6) trading session, BMHS’s stock price went up 4 points or 1.3% yoy IDR 312 per share. However, the stock price has actually shifted 14 points or 4.29% down since the beginning of this year, or down 52 points or 14.29% within the past year of trading. (KR/ZH)
