JAKARTA - Foreign share sales appear to have increased on Tuesday, June 4 but were not followed by share purchases. The gap between the foreign buying volume of 3.26 billion shares and foreign selling volume of 4.45 billion shares resulted in net foreign volume falling to -1.18 billion shares. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares remained in first place in the top sell list, unchanged from the previous day, with 2.25 billion shares sold and a net volume of -1.24 billion shares.

Foreign investors also sold 243.67 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), a banking company, resulting in a net volume of -119.64 million shares. The shares of the investor business in the field of running telecommunications towers, PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), were also sold for approximately 149.76 million shares, for a net volume of -72.66 million. Not only that, shares of the property company PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) were sold for 58.85 million shares, with a net volume of -51.98 million shares, followed by the sale of 186.18 million shares of the coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), with a net volume of -41.55 million.

Turning to the top buy list, 89.62 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), which operates in the domestic and international shipping industries, were purchased, with the net volume being 82.82 million shares. Around 66.52 million shares of the banking company PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) were also purchased, for a net volume of 41.98 million. The purchase of 78.78 million shares of telecommunications company PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) and 77.55 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) resulted in net volumes of around 30 million shares for each. The share purchase transaction concluded with foreign investors purchasing 41.56 million shares of lifestyle retail company PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI), for a net volume of 18.23 million shares.
