Net foreign volume remains in red zone at -513.29 million shares
JAKARTA - Foreign sell volume on Wednesday, June 5, was still larger at 3.03 billion shares than the foreign buy, which was 2.51 billion. Shares of its subsidiary in the mineral mining sector, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), were also sold for 64.03 million shares, with a net volume of -53.58 million shares. In the banking sector, PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) shares were sold for 52.87 million, with a net volume of -45.33 million shares. PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) shares in the investment sector for telecommunications tower operations were also sold for 96.64 million shares, for a net volume of -44.67 million shares.
In contrast, the telecom company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) has the same sales volume and net volume (23.53 million shares) because no foreign investors have sold any of its shares. Furthermore, 43.79 million shares of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), an electric vehicle battery producer, were purchased, for a net volume of 20.62 million shares. Foreign investors then bought shares of domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) as well as shares of automotive company PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) in the same range, namely 48 million shares.
