Atlantis Subsea Indonesia obtains 2 new contracts from Timas Suplindo
JAKARTA. PT Atlantis Subsea Indonesia Tbk (ATLA), a maritime survey and inspection company debuted on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) last April, has already secured 2 new contracts from Timas Suplindo.
One of the new contracts obtained by ATLA is a follow-up to Gansar project, a submarine survey project for Petronas Gansar. The second one is CPOC JDA project, a submarine survey for Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE) project.
Yophi Kurniawan, President Director of ATLA, claimed that these new contracts will extend the market scope of the company. “The company carries a desire to bring ATLA to expand bigger and is more popularly known as the survey and inspection service provider, not only for oil and gas industry but also other industries,” he said in the official release.
In addition to those two new projects, Kurniawan mentioned that ATLA also is currently exploring 2 potential survey projects still under negotiation process. However, he said that the details of these projects cannot yet to be disclosed to the public.
“Said projects are commissioned by our new potential clients, thus allowing us to extend our client portfolio. We hope and try so that these 2 projects can be obtained in the second half of 2024,” said Kurniawan.
Throughout 2023, Kurniawan mentioned that ATLA has secured project revenue of IDR 42 billion. This year, the company is optimistic that its project revenue can be higher. “2024 will be better, as we have received IPO proceeds to increase our capital. Thus, we will maximise said funds to try to secure higher contract value,” added Kurniawan.
For the record, ATLA issued 1.2 billion shares in initial public offering (IPO) held a couple of months ago. They are equal to 19.36% of issued and paid-up capital of the company. The funds collected from this corporate action is IDR 120 billion. (KR/ZH)
