JAKARTA. PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO) has established a new subsidiary called PT Stube Segarkan Indonesia (SSI), with a business line with the focus on ice production.

Lukas Setio Wongso Wong, Director of CLEO, said that SSI is formed with an authorised capital of IDR 10 billion, which consists of 10,000 shares. The paid-up capital of this subsidiary is IDR 5 billion, which also consists of 5,000 shares.

Approximately 99.98% of said capital will be taken over by CLEO itself, whereas the remaining 0.02% belong to PT Bemeroca Uniti Abadi.

“The establishment of this subsidiary is meant to support the company’s endeavour to expand business activities to ice production,” said Wong in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

It is worth mentioning that this ice production business line has actually been carried out by CLEO in one of its factories. “With this new entity, we will be more focused and, it will be quicker to expand the business,” said Wong.

According to IDNFinancials data, CLEO is one of business entities under Tancorp Group owned by the business mogul, Hermanto Tanoko. In this new entity, several offsprings of Tanoko will be positioned as directors and commissioners. (KR/ZH)
