JAKARTA - PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA) is divesting 2% or 55.80 million of its shares in PT Suryacipta Swadaya (SCS) for IDR 169.81 billion to PT Puri Bumi Lestari (PBL). This transaction between SSIA and PBL is not an affiliate transaction.

In the short prospectus quoted Tuesday (11/6), it was said that in addition to this divestment, SSIA will issue SCS’s shares of 962.70 million, or 34.5%, worth IDR 2.92 trillion.

SSIA is known as the holder or 99.99% of SCS. This transaction is equal to 69.75% of its total equity as of March 2024 of IDR 4.44 trillion.

SSIA will utilise the proceeds of this divestment and rights issue to lower SCS’s loans in banking, as well as improving SCS’s equity.

This plan will be further decided during General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled next week (21/6). (LK/ZH)
