JAKARTA - On Monday, June 10, foreign investors sold a considerable number of shares in the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). A total of 5.18 billion GOTO shares were sold, for a net volume of -2.60 billion shares. These share sales therefore significantly boosted foreign sales volume, which rose to 6.99 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was only 3.85 billion shares, causing the net foreign volume to drop to -3.14 billion shares.

Furthermore, shares of the banking corporation PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) were sold for 130.50 million shares, with a net volume of -107.49 million shares. In the e-commerce sector, approximately 111.80 million shares of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold with a net volume of -65.24 million shares, followed by the sale of 45.51 million shares of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) in the renewable energy sector with a net volume of -45 million shares. Additionally, shares of the petrochemical company PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) were sold for 92.72 million shares, with a net volume of -43.26 million shares

On the contrary, 15.20 million shares of leasing business PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) were purchased for a net volume of 14.59 million shares. In the banking industry, foreign investors purchased PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) 33.56 million shares, with a net volume of 12.36 million shares. Shares of PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), which operates in the household appliance retail sector, were also purchased for 15.97 million shares, for a net volume of 11.55 million shares. The share acquisition then continued with PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) in the coal mining industry, totaling approximately 19.37 million shares, for a net volume of 9.14 million shares. Finally, 13.98 million shares of PT Benteng Apo Technic Tbk (BATR), a refractory product manufacturing and trade business that had recently been listed on the IDX, were purchased for a net volume of 8.56 million shares.
