Three textile companies suffered capital deficiency
JAKARTA – Several issuers in the garment and textile industries have reportedly been at capital deficiency throughout 2023. Three of them are namely PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL), PT Panasia Indo Resources Tbk (HDTX), and PT Century Textile Tbk (CNTX).
Based on the data compiled by IDNFinancials today (13/6), SRIL reported capital deficiency of USD 954.82 million in 2023, worsening from USD 781.01 million in 2022. Its total assets were recorded at USD 648.98 million, down from USD 764.55 million, while liabilities increased from USD 1.54 billion to USD 1.6 billion.
Its revenue also slipped to USD 325.08 million in 2023 from USD 524.56 million in 2022, but its loss improved to USD 174.84 million from USD 395.56 million in 2022.
HDTX also reported capital deficiency of IDR 92.74 billion in 2023, worsening from IDR 77.78 billion in 2022. Its total assets were at IDR 239.22 billion, down from IDR 265.69 billion, while total liabilities also shrank to IDR 331.96 billion from IDR 343.47 billion.
Its operating revenue saw a massive downturn to IDR 27.90 million from IDR 6 billion, thus suffered a loss of IDR 14.97 billion, improving from a loss of IDR 57.35 billion in 2022.
Other competitors, CNTX reported capital deficiency of USD 18.81 million, also worsening from USD 14.73 million. Total assets were reported at USD 33.15 million, down from USD 39.80 million, similar to its total liabilities that decreased to USD 51.96 million from USD 54.58 million.
The revenue clocked up to USD 26.76 million, down from USD 34.87 million, and the loss worsened from USD 1.55 million to USD 4.04 million. (LK/ZH)
