Reliancever Holdings invest in two MNC Group issuers
JAKARTA - After becoming a new PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) investor, Reliancever Holdings Inc. entered two other MNC Group issuers on Friday, June 7. First, this foreign investor bought 9.16 billion shares of the issuer, which operates in the office space rental sector, PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), which accounted for around 9.39% of the shares. Furthermore, approximately 5.79 billion shares of PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk (BHIT), a holding company in the investment sector, were purchased, resulting in 6.74% ownership. Even so, Reliance decided to sell approximately 96.19 million shares of financial services company BCAP this time. All transactions were conducted through PT MNC Sekuritas.
Furthermore, PT Apollo Visintama Putra purchased 2.34 billion new shares of PT Gunung Raja Paksi Tbk (GGRP). This share purchase also means that Apollo Visintama now owns 19.37% of the steel company's shares. PT Paraga Arta Mida then increased its shareholding in property developer PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) by 3.25 million shares, while coal mining holding company PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) bought 4 million shares of its own.
Meanwhile, Tan John Tanuwijaya made the largest share sale, selling 21.02 million shares of the specialist foundation company PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR), reducing his stake to 63.78%. Djadjang Tanuwidjaja, another individual investor, then sold 270 thousand shares of the building construction company PT Total Bangun Persada Tbk (TOTL). The majority shareholder in PT Bersama Zatta Jaya Tbk (ZATA), PT Lembur Sadaya Investama, continued to sell 12.68 million shares. Finally, the controller of PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance Tbk (MTWI), PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk, decided to sell approximately 843,800 shares of the insurance company. (KD)
