JAKARTA - PT Suparma Tbk (SPMA) to finally channel out dividend of IDR 37.84 billion for the fiscal year (FY) 2023. For two years, since 2021, SPMA has been absent in dividend distribution to its shareholders.

Alberta Angela, Corporate Secretary of SPMA, mentioned that shareholders agreed upon dividend distribution of IDR 12 per share. The payment is due July 8, 2024, referring to the Official Register of Shareholders as of June 28, 2024.

Cum and ex dividend in the regular and negotiation market will fall on June 26 and 27, followed by the cum and ex dividend date in the cash market on June 28 and July 1.

The company will take out its dividend from its net profit of IDR 178.65 billion, while its retained earnings and total equity were recorded at IDR 983.41 billion and IDR 2.31 trillion.

In FY 2020, it reported net profit of IDR 162.52 billion. The allocated dividend was IDR 31.71 billion or IDR 15 per share, while setting aside general reserves of IDR 20 billion. The remaining net profit, of IDR 102.13 billion, was stored as retained earnings. (LK/ZH)
