JAKARTA - On Wednesday, June 19, foreign investors sold the most shares in PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), a digital enterprise. Through this transaction, foreign investors sold 3.18 billion GOTO shares, resulting in a net volume of -1.11 billion shares. This was undoubtedly one of the causes of the high foreign sales volume, which totaled 5.49 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was only at 4.02 billion shares, leaving net foreign volume at -1.47 billion shares.

Aside from GOTO, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) shares in the banking sector were sold for 302.71 million shares, with a net volume of -89.43 million shares. Shares of the petrochemical company PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) were then sold for 56.84 million shares with a net volume of -32.82 million shares and continued with the sale of 31.32 million shares of the securities company PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk (BHIT) with a net volume of -31.32 million shares. Furthermore, foreign investors were selling shares in the media company PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) as well, totaling 36.28 million shares with a net volume of -29.31 million shares.

In contrast, foreign investors also carried out share purchase transactions starting with the purchase of 80.63 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) with a net volume of 47.77 million shares. Shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were then purchased for 237.55 million shares and the net volume was 37.07 million shares. Around 37.68 million shares of leasing company PT BFI Finance Tbk (BFIN) were then purchased with a net volume of 27.16 million shares, followed by the purchase of 41.96 million shares of energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) with a net volume of 20.06 million shares. Shares of the state-owned telecommunications company PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) then became the last shares listed on the top buy list with a buying volume of 103.58 million shares and a net volume of 19.26 million shares.
