Gov’t to hold another SUN auction next week, eyeing IDR 22 trillion
JAKARTA. Indonesian Government once again holds an auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) next Tuesday (25/6) with an indicative target of IDR 22 trillion.
There will be 7 series of SUN auctioned off in this round, consisting of 2 Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 FR series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).
The coupons set for both SPN series is discounts, whereas the coupons set for ON series range from 6.87% to 7.12%.
Prior to this, on June 11, 2024, the government had also auctioned off 7 series of SUN. The incoming bids were recorded at IDR 42.96 trillion, while the awarded amount reached IDR 22 trillion.
The auction will utilise the system arranged by Bank Indonesia. All parties may submit their bids in the auction through participants authorised by the Minister of Finance.
According to IDNFinancials record, the government had conducted 4 SUN auctions in Q2 2024. Total awarded amount of those 4 rounds of auction clocks up to IDR 86.86 trillion. (KR/ZH)
