JAKARTA. PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk (AMFG), a manufacturer of glass for building and vehicles, will distribute cash dividend of IDR 34.72 billion or IDR 80 per share taken out of its net profit in 2023.

Christoforus, Corporate Secretary of AMFG, said that the allocated dividend is equal to 5.95% of its 2023 net profit. “It follows the result of Annual GMS on June 21, 2024,” he said in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

According to IDNFinancials data, AMFG reported net profit of IDR 583.29 billion throughout 2023. By the end of said year, the company also held onto retained earnings of IDR 3.77 trillion, while total equity reached IDR 3.25 trillion.

As of now, 44.53% of AMFG’s shares are under the control of AGC Inc. PT Rodamas claims another 41.63%, and the remaining 13.84% belong to public investors.

As of today (25/6), AMFG’s stock price has shifted 40 points or 0.87% upwards to IDR 4,660 each, seen at 2.44 PM WIB. However, since the beginning of this year, its stock has actually decreased 1,240 points or 21.02%. (KR/ZH)
