JAKARTA - PT Emdeki Utama Tbk (MDKI) increases its dividend by 20% to IDR 30.36 billion for the fiscal year (FY) 2023 from IDR 25.30 billion for FY 2022. The profit growth further fuels the company’s decision to increase the dividend allocation to shareholders.

In the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (26/6), Happy Hapsoro, Corporate Secretary of MDKI, mentioned that it will distribute cash dividend of IDR 12 per share on July 26, 2024. The dividend payment will be referring to the Official Register of Shareholders by the recording date on July 4.

The cum and ex dividend date in the regular and negotiation market is set to July 2 and 3, while the cum and ex dividend in the cash market follows on July 4 and 5.

The dividend is equal to 63.52% of total net profit attributable to the parent entity in 2023 of IDR 47.79 billion. Retained earnings were reported at IDR 166.80 billion, and total equity clocked up to IDR 964.90 billion.

In FY 2022, it allocated 66.66% of net profit in 2022, of IDR 37.95 billion, as dividend. The retained earnings and total equity were at IDR 940.21 billion.

Net profit in 2022 is lower than 2021 net profit of IDR 38.70 billion. In said fiscal year, the dividend allocation was set to IDR 25.30 billion or 65.36% of net profit, while retained earnings and total equity were at IDR 125.31 billion and IDR 905.29 billion. (LK/ZH)
