JAKARTA. PT Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (BSSR), a coal trading company, plans a dividend distribution worth USD 55 million or USD 0,021 per share.

Bueno Jurnalis, Corporate Secretary of BSSR, mentioned that the cash dividend allocation is equal to 33.8% of total 2023 net profit. “It is in line with the result of Annual GMS on June 24, 2024,” he said in the official statement.

The cash dividend will be given to BSSR’s shareholders whose names have been listed by the recording date on July 4, 2024. The cash dividend payment is due July 9, 2024.

The management of BSSR has set the currency exchange rate to IDR 16,420 per USD, following Bank Indonesia (BI) mid-rate on June 21, 2024. Therefore, each share will receive dividend worth IDR 345.15.

Throughout 2023, BSSR scored net profit of USD 162.26 million. At the end of the year, it still retained earnings worth USD 166.26 million, and total equity clocked up to USD 242.48 million. (KR/ZH)
