JAKARTA - On Monday, June 24, PT Bakrie Metal Industries released over 3.09 billion shares of PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) via PT BNC Sekuritas Indonesia. Previously, Bakrie Metal owned 22.05% of VKTR's stock, but this transaction reduced its ownership to 14.98%. VKTR itself is an electric vehicle company. Aside from that, the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia sold 150 million shares of the building construction company PT Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk (TOPS), also known as Totalindo, with the remaining shares amounting to 5.34%.

Furthermore, PT Kawan Lama Sejahtera sold nearly 30 million shares of the retail company PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), causing its controlling stake to fall slightly from 59.8% to 59.97%. From the individual investors, Tan John Tanuwijaya then released 25.63 million shares of the foundation specialty company PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR), followed by Prajogo Pangestu, who released 11 million shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), which operates in the industrial and energy sectors.

Individual investor Edward Halim, on the other hand, increased his stake in real estate company PT Saptausaha Gemilangindah Tbk (SAGE) by 53.03 million shares. Hansen Jap, the controller of PT Haloni Jane Tbk (HALO), also increased his stake in the disposable glove manufacturer by purchasing 2.38 million shares through PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia.

Then, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, the controller of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), which provides financial services, went after up to 2.87 million shares to gain. Another controller, PT Jinsheng Mining, purchased 2.5 million shares in the nickel mining company PT Central Omega Resources Tbk (DKFT). Finally, PT Bogamulia Nagadi, the controller of the pharmaceutical company PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), added 1.15 million shares to their portfolio. (KD)
