SMDR’s total dividend down 60%
JAKARTA – Total dividend of PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR) slipped 60% lower in fiscal year (FY) 2023 from FY 2022 allocation, following the decrease in its net profit attributable to parent entity.
Farida Helianti Sastrosatomo, Director of Compliance of SMDR, mentioned that the total dividend is set to IDR 262 billion, including interim dividend for FY 2023 of IDR 65.50 billion or IDR 4 per share and cash dividend of IDR 196.50 billion.
The dividend payment will take place on July 27, disbursed to shareholders listed in the Official Register of Shareholders by July 8.
The cum and ex dividend in the regular and negotiation market is set to July 4 and 5, while the cum and ex dividend in the cash market follows on July 8 and 9.
The dividend allocation is made based on its net profit of USD 74.58 million, retained earnings of USD 443.68 million, and total equity of USD 685.51 million.
Meanwhile, this issuer allocated total dividend for FY 2022 of IDR 655.02 billion, including interim dividend of IDR 163.57 billion or IDR 10 per share and cash dividend of IDR 491.26 billion or IDR 30 per share. Its net profit in 2022 was reported at USD 212.69 million, while retained earnings clocked up to USD 407.21 million, and total equity reached USD 646.48 million. (LK/ZH)
