Hasnur Shipping to channel IDR 84.99 billion to subsidiary
JAKARTA. PT Hasnur Internasional Shipping Tbk (HAIS), a marine logistics and shipping service provider, has channelled a capital injection worth IDR 84.99 billion to one of its subsidiaries, PT Hasnur Resources Terminal (HRT).
Rengga Temenggung, Coporate Secretary of HAIS, mentioned that said capital injection is given alongside the issuance of new shares by HRT, of 6.74 million shares. All those shares are taken over by the company, as its parent entity.
“This transaction is a form of a commitment of the company in developing an integrated shipping company group through extra capital that will be utilised to diversify the business of its subsidiary,” Temenggung explained in the official statement.
For the record, HRT is a subsidiary of HAIS with total ownership portion of 95%. HRT conducts port service business, which is connected to water transport service. With this extra capital, HAIS’s portion in HRT rises to 98.65%.
According to IDNFinancials data, HAIS recorded cash and cash equivalent of IDR 154.26 billion as of March 31, 2024. Total assets were recorded at IDR 950.78 billion, and total equity was IDR 695.84 billion. (KR/ZH)
