JAKARTA – Two issuers in the logistics and delivery industry reported dividend of over IDR 150 billion in fiscal year (FY) 2023, the biggest amount among 25 similar issuers listed on the stock exchange. PT Temas Tbk (TMAS) is the leading company in said industry, recording the highest dividend allocation and profit.

Based on IDNFinancials data today (8/7), TMAS distributed dividend of IDR 456.41 billion or IDR 8 per share for FY 2023. The dividend is equal to 58.31% of its total net profit attributable to parent entity in 2023 of IDR 782.61 billion. Its retained earnings and total equity were at IDR 2.31 trillion and IDR 2.58 trillion.

In 2023, the issuer reported revenue of IDR 4.30 trillion, slipping 11.72% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 4.87 trillion seen in 2022. Shipping services contributed 99% of total revenue in 2023, equal to IDR 4.30 trillion, while stevedoring services brought in IDR 599.71 billion.

In the second place, sat PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR) with allocated dividend in FY 2023 of IDR 196.50 billion or IDR 12 per share. Its net profit was recorded at USD 74.58 million, its retained earnings were USD 443.68 million, and total equity was USD 685.51 million.

SMDR’s revenue was recorded reaching USD 772.40 million in 2023, down 32.86% yoy from USD 1.15 billion. Shipping and agent services brought in USD 617.79 million, followed by logistics and port of USD 158.29 million, and other of USD 24.14 million. (LK/ZH)
