JAKARTA - On Monday, July 8, PT Pudjiadi Prestige Tbk (PUDP), a construction and real estate issuer, conducted a 1:2 stock split. As a result, the issuer's investors received twice as many shares. PT Istana Kuta Ratu Prestige, which owns 44.54% of PUDP shares, previously held 146.77 million shares but now has 293.54 million. Aside from that, individual investor Lenawati Setiadi P., who previously owned 73.89 million shares, now owns 147.79 million shares, representing a 22.42%.

PT Indospring Tbk (INDS), a manufacturer of automotive spare parts, also announced the stock split. This issuer conducted a 1:10 stock split, increasing the total shares of its controller, PT Indoprima Gemilang, from 578.21 million to 5.78 billion shares. Despite this, Indoprima's ownership percentage remains at 88.11%.

PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) might still take another corporate action, share buybacks. This time, the mining company bought back 12.55 million shares, bringing the total to 537.83 million. Then, PT Paraga Arta Mida purchased 2.70 million shares of the property development company PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE), resulting in a 6.79% stake.

Meanwhile, the number of shares investors issue in the market hints does not appear significant. PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk makes the majority of sales by selling 450,700 shares of the insurance company PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance Tbk (MTWI). The financial services company PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA)'s controller, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, also released approximately 255,355 shares. In addition, foreign investor Fidelity Funds released 63,200 shares of PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST), the operator of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) outlets in Indonesia.

Finally, investors in the marine transportation services company PT Trans Power Marine Tbk (TPMA) saw a decrease in share percentage as a result of their absence from the rights issue. PT Dwitunggal Perkasa Mandiri now owns only 53.72% of the company, with around 1.49 billion shares, while PT Patin Resources, which owns 315.89 million shares, owns only 11.32%. (KD)
