AKRA will transfer 336.3 million treasury shares
JAKARTA. PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) will carry out the transfer of treasury shares, which were previously obtained from share buybacks.
Suresh Vembu, Director & Corporate Secretary of AKRA, said that currently the company has entered a 6 year extension period for its share buyback. During this period, the company has also transferred the majority of its treasury shares through the MESOP program in stages.
"At the time this disclosure was submitted, the company's buyback shares totaling 336.3 million shares had not yet been transferred, and will begin to be partially transferred in August 2024," said Vembu, in his official statement.
According to idnfinancials.com data, AKRA's share price in today's trading fell 0.33% or 5 points to the level of IDR 1,500 per share. Meanwhile, in trading over the last year, the company's share price rose 3.45% or 50 points. (KR/LM)
