JAKARTA. Platinum Cineplex, a movie theatre network under PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM), has expanded its network following the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Metland Cibitung.

With this partnership, Platinum Cineplex will be erected over a land of 1,300 square metres.

“Platinum Cineplex Indonesia is expected to become a variant of tenant that will raise attraction towards Millenia City as the centre of activities and entertainment for Metland Cibitung or the neighbouring people,” said Anhar Sudrajat, President Director of PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (MTLA).

Platinum Cineplex at Metland Cibitung is projected to be the first branch that will provide high-quality movie-viewing experience with maximum comfort.

“This cooperation hopefully may generate positive business outcome and become a hopeful starting line for Metland and Platinum Cineplex Indonesia,” added Amit Ramesh Jethani, Director of PT Platinum Sinema.

As if known, Platinum Cineplex has been focusing on establishing movie theatres in tier-2 and tier-3 cities to capture more moviegoers.

“We are very excited about this collaboration and believe that the synergy between MVP and Metland will deliver bigger benefit for both parties, as well as the masses,” said Jethani.

This expansion is also in line with RAAM’s plan since IPO to attain its long-term vision and provide real contribution for entertainment industry in Indonesia. (KR/ZH)
