Nippon Indosari Corpindo’s profit grew 22% yoy in the first half
JAKARTA. PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI), a bread manufacturer under Salim Group, reported net profit of IDR 145 billion in the first half (H1) of 2024.
Said net profit grew 22% year-on-year (yoy) from the number seen in the same period last year. According to the official release, ROTI’s net profit surge in H1 2024 was drive by revenue that shifted 5.5% yoy to IDR 1.92 trillion.
Sales from Central Indonesia brought in the most revenue to ROTI in H1 2024, recording total sales of IDR 1.01 trillion. Meanwhile, sales in Western and Eastern Indonesia were recorded at IDR 909 billion, up 12.2% yoy.
The management of ROTI mentioned that the performance improvement in H1 2024 is in line with business expansion strategy implemented by the company. It includes the factory expansions in Batam, Gresik, Balikpapan, and Banjarmasin, as well as new sales points that have reached over 93,000 across Indonesia.
In the future, ROTI will continue to increase its production capacity by building its 15th factory in Pekanbaru. It is expected to be completed and ready for commission at the end of 2024. (KR/ZH)
