JAKARTA - Tempo and IDNFinancials has officially reviewed the performance of Indeks Tempo-IDNFinancials 52 this year after its initial launch on June 23, 2023. The result was announced through Press Conference: the Review of Indeks Tempo-IDNFinancials 52, earlier today (23/7). 

In his explanation, one of the members of Indeks52 Committee, Luther K., reveals that there have been 11 new issuers listed in the index, replacing 23 old ones and bringing total constituents down to 84 issuers.

According to the press release quoted today (23/7), out of those 11 new issuers, two come from infrastructure sector, or to be exact, electric utility industry, namely PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) and PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO).

Then, basic materials sector, especially metals and minerals industry, also sends two companies, PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) and PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL), to Indeks52.

As previously mentioned, 84 issuers of Indeks52 that come out of annual evaluation record total market capitalisation of IDR 8.96 quadrillion of IDR 11.55 quadrillion previously recorded in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as of March 2024.

"Hopefully, these issuers [entering Indeks52] can serve as reference for retail investors in selecting good stocks," added Wahyu Dhyatmika, CEO of Tempo Digital Media, when met at the same occasion today. (ZH)
