First half done, UNVR secured profit of IDR 2.46 trillion
JAKARTA - PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) pocketed net profit of IDR 2.46 trillion in the first half (H1) 2024, sloping from IDR 2.75 trillion seen in H1 2023. This decline is in line with the revenue slippage in the same period.
Based on Financial Report of H1 2024 quoted Wednesday (24/7), the issuers reported revenue of IDR 19.04 trillion, down from IDR 20.29 trillion in H1 2023. Operating profit followed the path, slipping to IDR 3.19 trillion from IDR 3.62 trillion, while profit before taxes decreased from IDR 3.57 trillion to IDR 3.16 trillion.
Domestic sales contributed IDR 18.50 trillion, down from IDR 19.62 trillion. Meanwhile, export sales also dropped from IDR 664.95 billion to IDR 537.34 billion.
