JAKARTA - On Thursday, July 25, foreign investors sold 256.60 million shares of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), for a net volume of -141.91 million shares. The share sale deal represents 15.17% of the total foreign sales volume, which was 1.69 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was 1.31 billion shares, with net foreign volume closing at -379.57 million shares.

Aside from GOTO, 63.86 million shares of coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were sold, resulting in a net volume of -59.27 million shares. In the banking sector, 152.11 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) were sold, for a net volume of -45.10 million shares. Furthermore, shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold for 54.56 million shares, with a net volume of -36.97 million shares, followed by the sale of 23.15 million shares of the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) without any share purchases, resulting in a net volume of -23.15 million shares.

On the share purchase list, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) topped with 89.79 million shares bought and a net volume of 61.32 million shares. Foreign investors then purchased 39.63 million shares of forklift rental business PT Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk (SMIL), for a net volume of 25.73 million shares. The purchase of 27.53 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services firm PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) and 19.06 million shares of renewable energy company PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) resulted in a net volume of almost 20 million, respectively. Finally, 17.83 million shares of aerosol services firm PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO) were purchased, for a net volume of 17.75 million shares. (KD)
